The Donkey Sanctuary's Food Fair cancelled

The Donkey Sanctuary's Family Food Fair which was due to take place on Saturday (13 October) has been cancelled due to bad wather.

A spokesperson for The Donkey Sanctuary said: "As a result of weather warnings we have unfortunately cancelled the Family Food Fair, which was due to take place tomorrow, Saturday 13 October.

"With the location of the Fair in a marquee and high winds expected over the next 24 hours we must put the safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers first.

"The sanctuary will remain open over the weekend, with The Kitchen offering hot food and drinks. We apologise for any inconvenience.

"We are now looking ahead to the events we have planned for the October half term."
