Northcott adds drama to Autumn programme
There aren't many reasons to look forward to the end of summer, but Exeter Northcott Theatre are giving the people of Exeter a reason to look forward to the cooler Autumn months.
Booking is now open for three of the theatre's autumn dramas, meaning many may now be wishing for the sun to stay away so Autumn can begin.
The first fantastic drama on offer is Michael Morpurgo's ' An Elephant in the Garden'. Co produced by Exeter Northcott Theatre and Poonamallee Productions, the performance tells the story of Lizzie, her mother and an elephant from the zoo as they flee the Allied fire-bombing of Dresden in the end-game of the Second World War.
Exeter Northcott Theatre are delighted to announce that there will be a post show talk with Michael Morpurgo after the Saturday matinee performance.
There really is something for everyone this Autumn, including ' Three Men in a Boat', which is perfect for comedy lovers.
Three Men in a Boat is a classic tale of British misadventure and folly by the scruff of the neck. Equipped with a working pub, live piano accompaniment, some ale, music hall singing, a dog and a feast of physical comedy, settle yourself in for a night out to remember.
Audiences who would like the performance to stay with them hours after they have left the theatre should book up to see 'Lotty's War'.
Lotty's War is a mesmerising story of passion, courage and sacrifice, set in WWII German occupied Channel Islands.
