Open call for exhibitors: MAKE 2017

'MAKE 2017 is an annual Christmas selling exhibition, held at the Devon Guild's comtemporary craft gallery in Bovey Tracey on the edge of Dartmoor.

Always popular, this Christmas exhibition will showcase and sell contemporary design work by makers across the UK, in its spacious gallery space. The show is a great oportunity for creatives from the South West to promote their work; make the most of the Christmas shopping period and sell their handmade products. MAKE runs Saturday 18 November, 2017 - Monday 7 January 2018.

The show celebrates the diversity of contemporary craft and will focus on selling handmade, high quality craftsmanship, highlighting one-off, unique pieces alongside small-scale batch production. The exhibition is open to any UK based contemporary craftsperson and designer-maker whose work fits these criteria. The Guild is particularly looking for makers who produce exciting and contemporary work.The Christmas period is a key time for sales; during the run of MAKE 2016 13,796 people visited the exhibition, approximately 14,600 visited online and over £24,000 in sales were achieved.
