Tiny dancers enjoyed their first performing experience in Twinkle and Teddy’s Big Day out, a babyballet production

On Sunday 21st February Exeter’s Corn Exchange played host to a very special full length production; Twinkle and Teddy’s Big Day out.

Produced by the award winning babyballet Exeter Central of DanSci Dance Studio the performance showcased their tinniest stars, a cast of children aged between three and six years old.

The sell-out show took the audience of friends and family on an enchanting, magical day trip full of excitement and mystery.  Twinkle & Teddy the babyballet bears went on various adventures from experiencing the fun of the zoo, to jumping waves at the beach. Each section portrayed by the tiny dancers.

One parent said: "So proud! My daughter’s first ballet show!! Our little baby looked so tiny on stage. All the little ones were amazing today, I was sobbing as she danced with such a smile!!"

"I am glad that my daughter was part of something so special! We had real trouble convincing her to take her costume off, she wanted to go back on stage again," said another parent.

The award-winning babyballet Song and Dance Academy is a wonderfully exciting educational movement to music programme for pre-school boys and girls aged from six months old. Designed to encourage babies and young children to enjoy the benefits and joys of song and dance, babyballet has built up a fantastic reputation for providing children with the opportunity to express themselves within a fun, safe and caring environment.

Teacher, Miss Ava says: "We’re delighted parents had the chance to see their little stars on stage so they can be as proud of them as we at babyballet are.”
