The VirginMarys to perform tonight
They have played headline shows in Japan, appeared at countless summer festivals and now The VirginMarys are heading to The Cavern in Exeter as part of their Just a Ride tour.
Since coming together in 2008, The VirginMarys have had a whole host of success. They have released a series of EPs independently on their own imprint Three Hearts and received great feedback following on from their performance at the SXSW Festival in Austin.
The group’s musical talents have seen their songs often used for Sky Sports and their television success doesn’t end there with a special film about the band being worked on by Manchester United TV.
This month sees the band take their second headline tour of 2013 across the UK, finishing at their homecoming sell-out Manchester show in front of 1,000 fans in support of their critically acclaimed debut album King of Conflict.
Classic Rock magazine have nominated King of Conflict for their Best Album of the Year award alongside David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Clutch and Queens of The Stone Age. The band return to America this month to play the huge Voodoo Fest and Buzz Fest festival main stages alongside Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Gaslight Anthem and Paramore.
The VirginMary’s, who will be performing hits such as Just a ride and Bang Bang Bang, will be on stage at The Cavern tonight at 8pm.
