Formed in Brixton, London in the mid nineties, Alabama 3 hit the ground running with their eclectic Rock, Dance, Blues, Country, Gospel and spoken word mash-ups. Achieving international fame with Woke Up This Morning the title track for smash hit HBO TV series The Sopranos, they went on to be sampled by the likes of Nas and Jay-Z. Gala Concert

The 2018 Crediton Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival will draw to a close on Sunday 9th December with a Gala Concert at 7.30pm by International Soprano Dame Felicity Lott. She will be accompanied on Piano by Sebastian Wybrew. Santa Claus Comes to Exeter
Saturday & Sunday, Princesshay Shopping Centre, Exeter
Santa and some of his elves will have their very own Arctic Adventure this weekend, 10am-4pm. All the way from the North Pole, Santa’s sleigh will land for family pictures to capture the Christmas magic. There will also be an opportunity for families to make a snow globe Christmas decoration to take home at no cost. For those who want to pass on their Christmas wish list, Santa will be waiting in his wooden cabin where children have the chance to meet him and receive a small gift. This part of the experience will cost £4 and all proceeds go to Princesshay’s charity of the year, FORCE (cash only at this event).
Russian Christmas Fayre

Exeter-Yaroslavl Twinning Association's Annual Russian Christmas Fayre. Russian goods, books, home produce, bric-a-brac, jewellery, tombola, guess the weight of the cake, guess the name of the bear and café. Find a last minute Christmas gift and enjoy a cup of coffee in the café for only £1, with a free refill! If you'd like to know more about the Twinning Association, there will be an information stand. 10am-1pm. All welcome!

The Crediton Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival runs until Sunday, closing with a Gala Concert given by International Soprano Dame Felicity Lott, performing a rare concert in the UK.
