On Friday 3rd November, the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance (EDAA) were invited to be a part of the EMG Symphony Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary as their selected community group for the retiring collection.

Mihangelf Promotions is a new music promotions enterprise in South Devon putting on live music, primarily at the Unit 23 Live venue in Totnes, formerly South Devon Arts Centre, a short hop away on the train or down the A38.

The enterprise is run by music lover Mike Fraser who lives local to Totnes.

Genres of music focused on are psychedelic/space rock, psychedelic/ambient/world dance and progressive rock, though don't be surprised at the occasional reggae or folk event.

Princesshay is marking its 10th Christmas in Exeter creating a truly festive atmosphere with Christmas lights, live festive performances and even granting Christmas wishes.

The festivities will start in Princesshay Square on Thursday 16th November from 4pm – 7.30pm, as Exeter BID presents the annual Christmas Lights Switch On and officially begin the Christmas countdown. The search for the new Miss England has started.

One winner will be crowned Miss England South West in May who will then represent Devon and Cornwall in the finals of Miss England 2018. The runner up will also be sent to the Miss England Finals 2018 to represent their county.

The current winner is Therapy Radiographer Stephanie Hill from Hope Valley Derbyshire who is proudly representing England at Miss World in Sanya China.
