To celebrate Exeter City qualifying for the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup for the first time in 44 years, customers can enjoy 1981 priced pints at Ludo Exeter!

That’s right… As part of a new agreement, Ludo Sports Bar & Kitchen will now be stocking Harbour Singlefin. So, as an ode to the last time Exeter City made it to this round of the FA Cup, if Exeter score against Nottingham Forest, pints of the Cornish Lager are rolled back to 1981 prices and become 51p.

Comedian Mike Osman is bringing his frighteningly realistic portrayal of the leader of the free world to the county in aid of Comic Relief.

The Capital radio presenter has appeared on such shows as Copy Cats, The Generation Game, Noel's House Party and Big Break.

He will be headlining a show at the Watermark in Ivybridge on Tuesday, March 12, which will also showcase three top local comedians – Louis Burgess, Suzy Bennett and Luke Honnoraty.

Muddy Dog Challenge which raises vital funds for thousands of homeless dogs and cats at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is coming to Exeter for the first time this April.

On Saturday 13 April hundreds of participants and their dogs will jump, crawl and wade through an obstacle course like no other in the beautiful setting of Powderham Castle.

There is a choice of 2.5km or 5km dog-friendly obstacle runs and participants can choose to enter by themselves, or as a dog and human team. Or take on the challenge as a family with the kids and four-legged friends for a fun day out to...

£4,000 Available To South West Filmmakers

Exeter Phoenix is offering £4,000 of support to local filmmakers through their annual commission scheme. This support will lead to the creation of four short films from filmmakers across the South West over the coming year.

Two awards of £1,500 will be made to support the creation of two Short Film Commissions (10-12 mins) and two awards of £500 will support two Micro Film Commissions (3 mins). Every genre of film will be considered including documentary, drama, animation, experimental, and everything in between.

The Donkey Sanctuary has launched a special edition of the popular board game Monopoly. The international animal welfare charity celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and has worked with the makers of the popular property trading game to produce its own unique edition.
