Lucy's own story of her struggle to success has been an incredible journey.

She had a successful career in a job she absolutely loved with promotion after promotion. She was at the peak of her career when she received some terrible news. She couldn’t have children.

She was devastated; she had always assumed that it wouldn’t be a problem and had never given it a moment’s thought.

Mums don’t quit
Never one to quit, Lucy started tough fertility treatment all the while juggling growing her business she had started with her partner.

It was a hard road, full of emotions: upset, worry, stress and at times it was overwhelming.

But this all melted away on the day that she was told, “you’re having a girl”.

Lucy says that it was this experience that helped shape her business into one that gave her the work life balance she needed.

The work-life balance equation
One of Lucy’s clients – Rhiannon – was also struggling to balance work and life issues as a busy regional manager.
