Heavitree paddling pools to close on Thursday for essential maintenance

Exeter City Council has announced that Heavitree Paddling Pools will be closed for the day tomorrow (25 July) to allow for the water to be changed.

But fear not, as the pools should be back in action on Friday (26 July), ready for the busy summer period.

The pools have seen thousands of users over the last few weeks during the exceptionally hot weather. The high number of users has resulted in a build up of sun tan lotion on the sides of the pools.

On Thursday the pools will be be drained, cleaned and refilled. With a chance of showers on Thursday, the closure should only result in minimum disruption.
