Hunt for baby who was born on Tuesday June 18, 2012
The Magdalen Chapter, in Exeter, is on the look out for a tot who is soon to celebrate his or her first birthday.
The Chapter, which opened its doors to the public on Tuesday June 18th 2012, is looking for a child who was born on the same day as the hotel opened.
The search will see one lucky child being offered the chance to host his or her first birthday party at The Magdalen Chapter. The prize will include high tea and cake for up to 20 guests plus helium balloons for all the children to take home and luxury spa party bags for the mums.
General Manager Fiona Moores said the hotel would love to share their own first birthday celebrations with a child who is also turning one.
She said: “Celebrating a first birthday is a momentous occasion for anyone. We are looking forward to marking our first anniversary since opening. The first year has been fantastic for the hotel – we have welcomed many people through the doors both as residents in the hotel and as diners in the restaurant.
“We are now looking forward to marking our first birthday on June 18th and we would love to find a youngster who is also celebrating his or her own first birthday on the same day. We are offering them the chance to hold their birthday party at the hotel and invite up to 20 guests (including children.) We will treat them to a fabulous high tea and birthday cake. The Magdalen Chapter is all about family. We welcome children into the hotel so this seemed like a perfect way to mark our first birthday.”
Parents who have a child turning 1 on June 18th are invited to enter the competition for the first birthday party. They should email their child’s name plus their own contact details to annabelrayer@chapterhotels.com Their entry should also include 50 words as to why they think their child should be selected. The closing date is Friday May 31.
Terms and Conditions
The first birthday party prize must be redeemed on Tuesday June 18, 2013. It is not transferable to any other date. The prize is valid for 20 guests including children (not infants) and will include a selection of sandwiches, canapés, cake and pastries. Tea, coffee, and soft drinks are also included. Any additional expenses should be covered by the winner. No cash alternative is available. By entering the competition, parents/guardians are agreeing for both themselves and their child to be photographed and to be included in media and promotional activity.
