The Deliveroo Restaurant Awards are back for 2025, celebrating the best and most loved local restaurants up and down the country.

From local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes and flavours in between, this year sees four restaurants in Exeter shortlisted for accolades in South England and Wales, including Best Chinese and Best Fish & Chips.

Fireaway, the UK’s fastest-growing pizza takeaway chain, has included Devon in its expansion

The company has enjoyed spectacular growth since launching in London in 2016 but much of their growth came during the pandemic. Now they’re opening new locations at the rate of one a week and is set to open its 120th store later this summer.

Family-run Darts Farm, based just outside Exeter, officially launched its brand new restaurant, The Farm Table, and its new Terrace Bar on Friday 15th July 2022, adding yet more reasons to visit this award-winning destination that celebrates local food and drink.

Edinburgh-based wine merchant, Independent Wine , now stocks more than 80 Decanter medal-winning Italian vintages. This is perhaps the largest collection in the UK, showing the online-only retailer's dedication to – and laser-focus on – fine Italian wines.
