An additional therapy is now available at an alternative health centre in Cullompton with the arrival of nutritional therapist, Carola Becker.

Carola will be providing nutritional advice at Culm Valley Natural Health, a complementary therapy practice based at College Surgery in Willand Road, which also offers homeopathy, acupuncture, counselling, massage, podiatry and osteopathy.

Ms Becker studied nutritional therapy after using supplements, and dietary and lifestyle changes to manage her own arthritis, and subsequently helping her partner treat his candida.

She explained: “I was so impressed with the results in both cases that I decided to retrain, and study nutritional therapy. “I am now really looking forward to working with others who could benefit from changes to their diet in order to manage health and weight issues.”

Health conditions that respond well to nutritional therapy include high blood pressure and diabetes. Fatigue and bloating can also be managed through making changes to nutrition and lifestyle.

“Nutrition is an important part of keeping healthy. It’s helpful to know that altering what you eat can have a beneficial impact on many areas of your life,” added Carola.

Carola will be available for appointments at Culm Valley Natural Health on Wednesdays from 3pm from February 17.
