Fun cities to visit with the kids this Easter
There is no shortage of great places to visit in the UK. Historic town, museums, great shopping centres, and gorgeous scenery are all just waiting to be explored. Travelling with kids will make exploring these spots even more exciting.
Of course, some cities are better than the others for those travelling with young children and the rest of the family. Here are some of the most fun cities to visit if you’re planning to take a trip with the kids this Easter.
London
London is easily topping our list for a number of reasons. For starters, the Natural History Museum is still one of the best places to visit if you have young children. The museum offers so many interesting things to explore, from the new T-Rex Grill to the Earth Hall.
Getting into London is also very straight forward. Most of the amenities are child-friendly and there are plenty of hotels in London that will keep kids entertained. In fact, you can opt for hotels with in-house children’s centre and even a children’s care facility, should you want to take a few hours for a romantic dinner in the city.
Other attractions such as the London Aquarium and Hyde Park offer more fun activities. It will be a memorable getaway for sure.
Eastbourne
Eastbourne is a particularly interesting and beautiful city to visit with lot of hotels to choose from, too. More importantly, you and the kids can have an adventure at the South Downs National Park.
The South Downs National Park allows you and your children to a great time exploring nature. You can camp or go searching for insects and birds. Kids love to explore their surroundings, which is why taking a short hike to see flowers and wildlife they’ve never seen before will be a thrilling experience.
While you’re at the park, be sure to visit the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre. The visitor centre is hosted next to an 18th-century barn: it is absolutely gorgeous.
Wroxham
Last on our list is Wroxham. The destination we’re trying to get to is not in Wroxham, but rather on the outskirt of the city. It is a place called Bewilderwood, a theme park that will ignite every child’s imagination of an adventure in the land of the fairy tales.
Bewilderwood is not your typical theme park. It’s not as commercial as most parks. Instead of food stands and rides, the park focuses more on capturing children’s imagination by letting children discover magical creatures, climb trees, and even build a den or a fortress in the woods. If you time your visit correctly, your kids can join in the Easter egg hunt for a truly magical experience.
These are some great places to visit this Easter, each with its own attractions and holiday experience to offer. Get your kids involved in the planning and enjoy the perfect Easter vacation for the whole family.
