Appeal after cars keyed at Devon station
Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a number of cars were ‘keyed’ at Tiverton Parkway rail station.
Between Thursday, 12 March, and Monday, 6 July, there have been six incidents of criminal damage to motor vehicles.
They all involved cars being deliberately scratched along the sides, and in one case also on the bonnet.
PC Gary Archer, investigating, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information about these incidents. Do you travel through the station? Did you see anything suspicious? I urge anyone to get in touch on the number below if they have any information.”
Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016. Information can also be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
In all calls, please quote incident reference G-SUB/B4 of 03/08/15.
