Arrests after alleged attempted burglary

Police are investigating an attempted burglary at a commercial premises in Exeter on Monday 9 June.

Four men were spotted on CCTV allegedly attempting to break into the premises in Yeoford Way, Marsh Barton at around 2.40am

The men allegedly climbed the security gate and attempted to break into a shipping container at the rear of the premises.

A police dog assisted local officers in detaining the men.

Two 19-year-olds from Exeter, a 17-year-old from Newton Abbot, and a 17-year-old from Exmouth were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and taken to Heavitree Road police station where they remain for questioning.
