Be a Mud Race Rocksolid Star!
Do your children love to get muddy? Then Rocksolid Stars is the ultimate way to get dirty and support your local children’s hospice too!
Children’s Hospice South West is delighted to be the chosen charity for this year’s Rocksolid Stars event to be held at Escot Park, Exeter on Saturday 19 March.
Running alongside the popular adult’s Rock Solid Event, Rocksolid Stars is simply a great way to get dirty whilst helping to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) at the same time.
With two age brackets, 5-9 and 10-14, there’s no excuse to not get involved. All participants will be encouraged to raise £5 in sponsorship for CHSW which provides help and support for life-limited children and their families across the region. So by taking part you will be helping other children in the area, plus there are great prizes for the top fundraisers too!
Josh Allan, community fundraiser for the charity said: ‘What child doesn’t like getting muddy? With obstacle courses, tangled ropes and tunnels, this is such a fun event and your sponsorship will really help us to make the most of short and precious lives.’
2016 marks 25 years since CHSW was first founded by Eddie Farwell and his late wife Jill. This event is a great way for children to connect with the charity and also help to secure its future. Entry to the event is just £20 and is open to individuals or school groups.
Adults can complete the course with children for free. For more information and for details as to how to sign up see http://www.chsw.org.uk/events/running/rockstars
