Charity celebrates success with fundraising ball

Hollywell Housing Trust, the Exeter based charity which helps vulnerable adults to live independently, is celebrating a bumper 2017 by hosting its first ever Christmas fundraising ball.

The black tie event, which will be held at Rockbeare Manor, near Exeter, will celebrate some of Hollywell’s biggest achievements of 2017.
Local companies are also invited to get involved, by bringing along their staff and colleagues to enjoy this evening of first-class food and live music, and to enjoy their own Christmas ‘do’ with a difference. The Trust will also welcome some of our tenants, carers and families to the event.

The Hollywell Housing Trust, which works throughout Devon and Cornwall, houses vulnerable adults in their own privately rented accommodation. The charity provides housing and housing related support to allow vulnerable people with learning disabilities and autism to live independently within their own home in the community.

‘So far this year, we’ve helped 31 people to find their own home and live independent lives. It’s also been the year that we’ve grown the Hollywell team, from two team members to five as we go from strength to strength. The ball recognises the hard work that the whole team has put in, and aims to celebrate at this special event with all of our clients, colleagues and supporters,’ says Katie Sherjan, Chief Executive Officer.

The ball, taking place on Friday, December 8th, will celebrate the charity’s third birthday, whilst at the same time raising money so that they can continue to do excellent work and help even more people in 2018.

Tickets are still available and cost £50 each (tickets are discounted for our tenants and their carers). For more information visit www.hollywellhousingtrust.org.uk or call Katie on 01392 345528
