Devon mum Leah Phillips is turning her passion for fitness into a new business.

She has linked up with fellow trainer Mark Flynn to launch Peak Fitness Training.

Mum-of –three Leah (pictured, inset) said she wanted to encourage people of all shapes, ages and sizes to come along to the inaugural class on May 18th  at Crediton Town Hall from 10am.

The 40-year-old said that as a busy parent she realised how difficult it is to balance family and work life and stay in shape at the same time.

Leah, who lives in Bow, Mid Devon, added: “I think a lot of people are put off keeping fit because they find gyms intimidating or they just struggle to find the time.

“By running our classes in the town hall in Crediton, we are hoping people living nearby will give us a try.”

Leah has been juggling being a mum, working part time and gaining her fitness qualification for the past two years.

But she said she was now excited about being able to launch the new venture.

“Our classes will be about having fun in a relaxed atmosphere but also achieving goals.

“Most people either want to lose a few pounds or get in better shape and we are here to help them do that.”
