Exeter Comedy Club Christmas at the Corn Exchange
Exeter Comedy Club seems to be proof that we all enjoy a good laugh in difficult times. The club which is hosted at the city’s Corn Exchange continues to sell-out show after show and the Christmas specials are heading the same way.
Instead of just one performance on one night the venue is staging four comedy clubs on the run up to Christmas; on Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th December. Already the Thursday and Friday performances have completely sold out and very few tickets remain for the Wednesday evening show.
Mark Farley who is one of the club’s organisers said: “We always get a massive demand for tickets for the comedy club, most events sell out well in advance, people just love the chance to see top stand-up performers live and because the venue is big enough for everyone to sit at a table and get an excellent view it just seems to work.”
Each evening will feature four top acts from the national stand-up circuit in cabaret and the performers lined up for the Christmas specials are Mark Olver, Suzi Ruffell, Ivo Graham, Kockov, Tony Law and Adam Vincent. Details of who is performing on each night can be found on the venue’s website: exeter.gov.uk/cornexchange. Pizzas can be ordered on the evening and the bar is open throughout the performance.
To book for the Tuesday evening show or for the few remaining tickets for Wednesday call the venue on 01392 665938 or book online through the website. Tickets cost £12 (online bookings are subject to a booking fee) and tables are reserved for everyone booking for a party of four or more.
