Exmouth Charity Launches Suicide Awareness Campaign
Exmouth based charity, Pete's Dragons, has launched a new campaign to highlight the services that are available to people in Devon that have been impacted by suicide in the lead up to World Suicide Prevention Day on Sunday 10th September.
The "Surviving Suicide" Campaign is being run in conjunction with Alright Mate?, a men's mental health charity. It tells the stories of people that have used the charities services after experiencing loss through suicide, and lets people know how they can get help should they ever need it.
Pete's Dragons started life in 2010 after CEO Alison Jordans brother Pete committed suicide and she saw a huge gap in the support services for people left behind, and we now support over 200 beneficiaries at any one time from all over Devon and North Somerset.
You can see the campaign via Facebook here.
