Explore the Exeter Northcott

Have you always wanted to explore behind the scenes of a theatre? Poke around in the dressing rooms and hear tales from some of the people who work here? The Exeter Northcott Theatre Open Day is the perfect opportunity to find out. If you’re aged 11 and over come along and join us as we throw our doors open on Saturday 22 February.

The day will include a backstage tour around the building so you can follow in the footsteps of the famous actors that have graced our theatre and reveal the secrets that bring shows to the stage. The tour will also include make up and costume demonstrations.
Our technical team will also be presenting a series of practical demonstrations in the auditorium, including lighting and sound displays and explosive fun with stage pyrotechnics.

The Spires Cafe will be open throughout the day serving light refreshments.

The day will conclude with youth theatre performances in the Exeter Northcott auditorium
