Happy Days Nurseries Big 30th Birthday Bash in Exeter
Happy Days Exeter is hosting a 30th Birthday Party on Saturday 4th September to showcase their facilities and to raise money for a local children’s hospice while also celebrating 30 years of Happy Days Nurseries.
The popular nursery located in the Peninsula Park Estate, adjacent to Rydon Lane, invites their families from around Exeter to join staff and children for a garden party on Saturday 4th September. The celebration is an opportunity for current parents and their children to enjoy a morning of engaging activities while also raising funds for the Children’s Hospice South West by participating in The Big South West Cream Tea which has been sponsored by the nursery group.
The party begins at 10am and closes at midday with a tombola, stalls and a delicious cream tea. Councillor Mr Peter Holland and Mrs Jacky Holland will be attending the event to support the cause. In addition, a Sing and Sign coordinator who will host a class for the children and families. The raffle has been a huge success with prizes donated from a number of businesses including The Waterfront, Ibounce, Planet Play and Exeter Golf and Country Club.
Lisa Marchent, Nursery Manager at Happy Days Exeter said: “We are very excited to be celebrating the nursery group’s 30th birthday here in Exeter. We have some exciting prizes in our raffle and there we will be lots of activities for both the children and adults to engage in. We are also delighted to welcome Councillor Mr Peter Holland and Mrs Jacky Holland to our special event. It will truly be an unforgettable day and it’s a great opportunity to raise awareness of the hospice while also raising as much money as possible.”
Bernadette Chambers, Area Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West said: “We are so grateful to Happy Days Nurseries for their support of The Big South West Cream Tea, in what is the 30th anniversary year for both of our organisations.
