Exeter Youth Rugby are urging keen cyclists to take part in a four day cycle ride around the perimeter of Devon, which aims to raise money for the organisation and the Exeter Foundation.

Five teams of two cyclists are required for the race, entitled 'The Tomahawk tour', which begins on Wednesday 3 September.

Those who take part in the race, which covers some 300 miles, will help Exeter Youth Rugby's aim to raise £10,000 for the organisation and the Exeter Foundation, with all funds being split 50/50.

The Exeter Foundation will distribute all funds gained to local charities, whilst Exeter Youth Rugby will use the funds they recieve to develop their new rugby facilities.

Although the aim is to have five teams of two taking part in The Tomahawk Tour, Exeter Youth Rugby welcome additional cyclists to take part in the race. Additional cyclists will need to organise their attendance themselves.

Each team of two is required to raise a minimum of £750 each (£1500 combined). Teams are also required to cover the cost of their food and accomdation throughout the four day cycle.

Each team will recieve their own personal fundraising page on the Virgin Money Giving Page. To ensure as much publicity as possible, those interested need to register ASAP.

If you are interested in taking part in The Tomahawk Tour, please contact Adrian Williams at ady.williams@btinternet.com or call 07740 177123.
