Knoops to launch new store in Exeter city centre
KNOOPS (www.knoops.co.uk), the British brand that is revolutionising chocolate drinks with its unique and completely customisable chocolate % menu, is opening its 21st UK store in the city of Exeter just in time for the colder Autumn weather. Pumpkin Spice hot chocolate anyone?
Opening its doors to the first store in Devon in the centre of town, just in front of Exeter Cathedral, on 13th September, at 63 High Street, shoppers will be able to customise their ideal hot chocolates, iced chocolates, and milkshakes from KNOOPS’ tantalising menu of chocolate %s and additions.
The brand was founded by Jens Knoop, who created the concept around Knoopology: the art of crafting the perfect chocolate drink.
Designed to be democratic, KNOOPS has over 20 different chocolate %s – from 28% White to 100% Extra Dark - nine different dairy and plant-based milks and over 20 extras like sea salt, orange zest, chilli and cinnamon. Drinks can be poured as a smooth hot chocolate, over cold milk and ice for an iced chocolate, or blended with ice cream for a deliciously thick milkshake. There is something for every taste, mood and individual – you can even top your drink off with the addition of a KNOOPS handmade marshmallow from The Marshmallowist.
Whether Exeter locals are hitting the shops in the city centre or strolling the riverside along the River Exe it should be done with a KNOOPS in hand…
Speaking on the latest openings, CEO William Gordon-Harris comments: “The opening in Exeter and of our 21st store is a huge milestone for KNOOPS as we seek to spread our first 40 or so stores across the UK so we can speak as THE national brand as quickly as possible - and own the category we have created.”

The latest opening is indicative of KNOOPS’ ambitious expansion plans following recent openings in Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Chester, Guildford, and Bath. Other locations can be found across central London, as well as Manchester, Cambridge, Oxford, Rye and Brighton.
