Make-over for Devon sports centre
Culm Valley Sports Centre looks fresh and inviting, and the impressive new equipment in the fitness studio now rivals every other facility in the Mid Devon area. The official opening ceremony is on 7 February.
For everyone with a New Year’s resolution to be more active and healthy, make a fresh start by visiting the new facilities at Culm Valley Sports Centre this January. The Centre has undergone a refurbishment of the customer areas and fitness studio, in time for its 30th birthday celebrations from 7 to 13 February.
The fitness studio now comprises 15 resistance exercise stations and 24 cardio-vascular machines, boasting the very latest Precor treadmills. This fantastic new high tech equipment is simple to use and uses the most up-to-date touch screen, interactive technology.
The new adjoining Vibrogym room brings this great piece of equipment into the main fitness area with its cardio vascular machines, which then leads into an impressive free weights and resistance workout areas.
The variety of equipment available was chosen to cater for all abilities and preferences. With the help of our experienced instructors and motivation from seeing your workout results downloaded from the new machines, tracking progress is not only easy but rewarding too.
The whole Centre looks fresh and inviting with new flooring and furnishings, including new tables, seating and a sofa in reception for relaxing with a coffee after your workout. Feedback received from customers is very positive as the refurbishment has brought the 30 year old Centre up to the high standards expected from any modern fitness facility.
The official opening of the refurbished fitness studio is on Saturday 7 February, when there will be a family fun afternoon to start a week of 30th birthday celebrations for the Centre.
