
Motorcyclist dies in A35 collision
A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a milk tanker on the A35 near Honiton.
The accident happened yesterday (Sunday) about one mile from Honiton on the Axminster Road shortly after 3.45pm.
The 49-year-old male motorcyclist from Honiton, who was riding a 750cc Kawasaki motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin for have been informed.
The road was closed for over seven hours while an investigation of the scene took place and the vehicles were recovered. The tanker containing milk had to be pumped out before it could be recovered.
The road re-opened at around 11.15pm.
