New florist opens in Princesshay
A contemporary new florist, Moka, has opened in Roman Walk in Princesshay.
Moka owner, Jonathan Murray, who already owns St Leonards Flowers on Magdalen Road, Exeter, brings this experience and success to his second city centre store.
Jonathan Murray explains, “Moka is a modern, stylish floristry offering distinctive ready-made and bespoke bouquets and plants with a very different feel to the country garden, village style of St Leonards Flowers. We are excited to be Princesshay’s only florist and to be bringing our offering into the heart of the city centre.”
Moka, next door to Carol Anne Jewellery on Roman Walk, will employ two new members of staff to add to its existing team of experienced and friendly florists and will offer deliveries, full wedding and funeral services and arrangements for events and businesses. Moka is introducing a £2 posy as a gift for all occasions for an affordable way to say it with flowers.
Moka is also proud to be a member of The Lonely Bouquet movement dedicated to leaving a mystery bouquet for someone to find, spreading unconditional kindness through flowers. Their latest gift was left in Exeter’s Cathedral Green for someone to take home and Moka promise more for Exeter soon.
Wayne Pearce, Centre Director at Princesshay said, “It is fantastic to have a florist in the centre complementing the other independent retailers in and around Roman Walk in Princesshay. I’m sure that Moka will be a great success and we look forward to working with them on events planned for 2013.”
Moka, 7 Roman Walk, Princesshay, Exeter is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday from 2 August 2013. For more information contact www.mokaflowers.co.uk or call 01392 413203.
