Buying a Tudor watch in Devon and Cornwall used to be a Mission Impossible. But now, thanks to Michael Spiers Jewellers, the watch of choice for Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible as action man Ethan Hunt is making its debut in the South-West.

The Tudor brand, famed for its fantastic resilience and durability, has arrived in the UK for the first time in over ten years and Michael Spiers Jewellers in Truro, Plymouth, and Exeter, will be the only official agents for the brand in the South West.

Company Director, Adam Spiers, said: “This launch is one of the biggest we have had at Michael Spiers and the most important watch launch for the Swiss watch industry in a very long time. We are delighted to be playing an integral part of this launch in the West-Country.”

Originating in the 1920’s as a part of Rolex, Tudor eventually became its own brand 20 years later and has built up a reputation of producing watches that can tackle the most extreme conditions. This was famously proved in the 50’s when they were used as official equipment for year-long British expeditions to North Greenland.

The range includes the Heritage Ranger and Heritage Black Bay (pictured) - two watches that are interpretations of the original iconic Tudor models.

Adam Spiers said: "As the only official agents in Plymouth, Exeter and Truro, Michael Spiers are looking forward to the big launch.  We can't wait to give our customers and friends the opportunity to see this fantastic range of watches for the first time in the UK."
