New flights from Exeter announced by regional airline

Loganair has announced changes to its Exeter schedule which introduce a new daily flight to Manchester as part of the regional airline’s growth plans.

The airline has confirmed that a new Exeter to Manchester flight will run daily, beginning 26 October. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £59.99, including a 15kg hold bag and 6kg cabin bag.

The winners of a children’s short story competition, which focused on the themes of waste and recycling, were presented with their prizes last weekend (September 21) at Exeter Library.

The competition was held earlier this year and was organised by Devon County Council’s Waste Education Team.

The team works with schools across the county to raise awareness about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling through events such as this competition, school trips and workshops.

October 2024 marks 20 years since the anniversary of the first business improvement district pilot, with £1bn invested in local services and events to improve towns and cities for communities and business.

Cumberland Grange care home, in Exeter has thrown a party for residents, friends and families to celebrate 3 years of serving the local community.

Staff, residents and guests commemorated this special occasion with live music, photo booth pictures with props, a delicious buffet and to top it all off, a visit from a talented local magician who “blew everyone’s minds”.
