Members of the public in Devon & Cornwall can now report crimes and incidents and find out how to access support for victims just by using a smartphone app.

The Police.UK app also gives crime prevention advice, information on local police contacts and an opportunity to compare crime rates in different parts of the country.

Local care home completes 100 laps of the garden for age UK

Cumberland Grange care home in Exeter recently took on the challenge of completing 100 laps of the garden all in aid of Age UK here in Exeter. Residents, staff, family members and the community all dressed up for the occasion in fancy dress before setting off and doing as many laps as possible.

There was live music, a smoothie station, a sangria station and a cake station to keep everyone well hydrated and fed. The 100 laps were successfully completed with all residents receiving a medal at the end.

Pupils and staff at Exwick Heights Primary School , part of the Ted Wragg Trust family, are celebrating Earth Day this week.

Earth Day is an annual event held on the 22nd of April encouraging people to demonstrate support for environmental protections.
