Police increasingly concerned for safety of missing Hayle woman

Police in Cornwall are becoming increasingly concerned with regards to the safety and wellbeing of a local woman from Hayle, Meryl Cameron.

Meryl is a white female, 54 years old, 5’3’’ tall, medium build. She has blonde short bobbed hair.

Meryl disappeared from her home address in Canonstown in the early hours of Saturday 30 March 2013.
Her vehicle, a white Renault Megane (pictured), with black soft top roof and silver alloy wheels, was found parked in a lay-by at the local beauty spot Hell's Mouth on the B3301 Hayle Cornwall at 10.40am on 30 March.

Hell's Mouth is located along the North cliffs of Hayle West Cornwall, near the holiday resorts of Gwithian, Godrevy and Portreath. The area is popular with dog walkers and surfers. It was especially busy over the Easter Bank holiday weekend with holiday makers.

Police are appealing for members of the public who may have seen Meryl or her car in the area between Thursday 28 March and Saturday 30 March to come forward with any information.
