Devon photographer's stunning images
Inspired by the work of artist Marc Chagall and loving the fluid feel of his abstract paintings, Devon wedding photographer Rosie Anderson wanted to create something similar in a series of photographs.
She said: “As a wedding photographer I have an interest in capturing the unspoken connection between two people. It was instantly apparent to me that something about being underwater changed things and made that connection really intense, which was weird because there is absolutely nothing romantic about an underwater shoot!
"Underwater photography obviously requires a different technical approach and you have to reconsider lighting, makeup and clothing. Rosie wanted to get full body shots in the water and the testing pool at Sea & Sea in Paignton was perfect at four meters in the deep.
"Moreover, on the part of the models, there’s the trick of appearing comfortable, serene and in love, while in a pool. Couple Ellie and Ruben both students at Exeter College make it look easy."
Rosie’s beautiful and extremely romantic photos show that the effort is well worth it. To see more of Rosie’s undrewater photography, visit her website at http://rosieanderson.co.uk/water-love/
