The FORCE and Francis Clark 10k, 5k and Family runs will be held at Powderham Castle on Sunday 8th September 2013 from 11 am.
The 10k route will start on the field in front of the Castle, go up the driveway, along the footpath and out onto the road - taking in the wonderful estuary view. There is then a climb to the forests behind the Castle, before a cross-country track leading back to the terraces. As usual there will be a warm up beforehand and cakes and hot drinks available afterwards. The 10k run will go first, followed by the (slightly under) 5k run, which follows the first half of the course.
As per last year, there will also be 10k and 5k mountain bike rides (sponsored by Gilbert Stephens) leaving at similar times. The Family run will take place after the other events have departed. This year, we would like to encourage everyone in the Family run to continue with the fancy dress theme.

Entry will be £10 and £5 (per person) respectively for the 10k and 5k runs/rides. Entry to the Family Run costs £10.00, which includes 2 adults and 4 children. Places for additional children are £2.00 each.
