Exeter City youngster Jake Gosling has had his loan spell with Dorchester Town extended until Saturday 5th January 2013.

The 19-year-old originally joined the Blue Square Bet South side on an initial one-month loan deal at the beginning of September.  The deal was extended at the beginning of last month, just in time for him to feature in the FA Cup fixture against Plymouth Argyle, where he scored the game’s only goal.

His cup run with the Magpies was ended by a 2-1 loss at Luton Town yesterday, but another month with the Dorset side gives the striker another nine opportunities to play in a busy Christmas period.  Dorchester currently lie in 11th in the Conference South, but the side are playing catch-up with as many as four games in hand on many clubs from the rest of the league.

Jake has the best wishes from everyone at the club for his stint with Dorchester.
