A proper grand opening on Friday 3 October from 11 am till late, and everyone is welcome.

A fun and creative day iso promised with activities for all the family, a chance to start work on the new community wildlife garden, live performances and tasty food. There's something for everyone!

• 12 noon-12.30 pm – Ribbon cutting by special guest, Miranda Krestovnikoff, RSPB President.

• 12.30 pm-1.15 pm – Join your RSPB guide on a stroll to  our viewing platform to watch the winter waders arrive on  the estuary.

• From 2 pm - Get digging! Grab a spade and help us start our wildlife garden, by digging out the pond and path.

• From 3.30 pm – Fun for the children with slate painting, badge making and bug hunting.

• 7 pm  -  Live performance in the hide by Widsith & Deor   Storytelling Theatre – one for all of the family.    www.cartwheels-collective.co.uk

• All day – Marvel at the live creation of the unique Hide Wall Art, by local artist Moose Allain.
             

Enjoy tasty, locally sourced hot food and drink

There will be Optics demos by the RSPB shop and the opportunity to sign up for future work on our community garden.
