Edgar and the Land of Lost

Join lonely, sensible, grumpy Edgar and adventurous, unruly Peewee as the unlikely pair travel through the imposing doors of lost property in sleepy Winton town - into the undiscovered, Land of Lost - where everything is misplaced and nothing is as it seems. George's Marvellous Medicine

Grandmaster Flash

Hold it Down presents Grandmaster Flash plus support. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five fomented the musical revolution known as hip-hop. Theirs was a pioneering union between one DJ and five rapping MCs. Grandmaster Flash not only devised various techniques but also designed turntable and mixing equipment. The combination of Grandmaster Flash’s turntable mastery and the Furious Five’s raps, which ranged from socially conscious to frivolously fun, made for a series of 12-inch records that forever altered the musical landscape. Father Christmas at Killerton

Ho ho ho! Father Christmas parks his sledge on the Killerton drive, and gets everyone in the festive spirit. As he is especially visiting Killerton, Father Christmas has promised to be dressed in his special green robes, as he traditionally was in the Victorian era.  He'll be waiting to meet you by a roaring log fire in the Music Room. Frozen Sing-a-long

Wild Wood
Innovation Centre, Univeristy of Exeter, EX4 4RN
Fern Leigh Albert became a member of the low-impact, off the grid Steward Community Woodland in 2013, situated in a 32 acre woodland on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Fern documents her time in the community, living among twelve adults and seven children in self built structures. This exhibition showcases new works by Fern highlighting a less romanticised connection with nature and a step towards voluntary simple living. The exhibition runs until 21 January. www.ccanw.co.uk

What Do You Collect? War Cabinet
Finders Keepers? Gallery, RAMM, Queen Street, Exeter
A fascination for military history in the 20th century and the tales of ordinary people faced with extraordinary circumstances, has led this collector to focus on artefacts from the First World War. Art & Soul: Victorians and the Gothic

Some of the most memorable Victorian works of art and architecture were inspired by the middle ages.
