Grease powers into the Exeter Northcott
EXETER NORTHCOTT THEATRE
23 - 27 JUNE 2015
Following last year’s blockbuster production of Les Miserables at the Northcott Theatre, Stage by Stage, Exeter’s own theatre arts school, returns with the show voted the world’s most popular musical!
With a cast of over 70 students, aged 11 to 20, from across the city, this promises to be not only a theatrical spectacular, but also a triumphant celebration of Exeter’s performing arts talent! With a former Devon schoolboy having just won a Tony Award on Broadway, what could be more inspiring to this generation?
“Les Miserables enjoyed a full standing ovation at every show last year. The cast of Grease is really looking forward to matching that challenge,” laughs Lewis King (20) who plays the hero, Danny Zuko. Bryony Buckingham (18) who plays Sandy is just about to go off to dance college in London. She says, “Grease is all about energy and youth- in recent tours it has been performed by actors who are nearly in their forties! Our cast can really relate to the story because we are the actual age of the characters!”
Tickets are selling very fast but there are still some great seats midweek on 01392 493493. www.exeternorthcott.co.uk
