Until 2nd November, AEG is giving Rugby Club Youth Sections (Junior and Mini teams) in England, Scotland and Wales the chance to win one of twenty sets of Canterbury kit (shirts, socks, water bottles and boot bags) as well as 20 Canterbury balls and 2 ball bags for their club.

To top it off the clubs will also win a top of the range AEG OKOMix washing machine to care for the kit. All 20 winners will then have a chance to win one of three training sessions with a rugby legend like Will Greenwood at their club.

Entry to the competition is simple and just requires a photo and access to Facebook.  Anyone can enter on behalf of a junior rugby club team whether they are a parent, friend, fan or club member.
To enter just visit www.facebook.com/AEG and follow the instructions on the AEG Grassroots Competition 2016 post, which is pinned to the top of the page.

Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood who trained last year’s Southampton winners, Trojans RFC says, “It’s great to be involved in AEG Grassroots Rugby for the fifth year. The competition inspires rugby players at the heartbeat of the sport and having great rugby kit is a key component for being successful at all levels,”

Peter Spencer, Managing Director for AEG comments, “What better challenge for a high performance, responsive washing machine than to be able to wash the muddiest rugby kit to the highest standards possible? But for AEG it is much more than that. Our brand values of performance, kinship and care link very strongly through to the values of grassroots rugby and we are proud to be celebrating 5 years of supporting the game at grassroots level. By providing our winning teams with the ultimate kit and laundry package, it means money can be freed up for other vitally needed areas in the club.”

Since 2011 more than 2,350 kits and 80 washing machines were supplied to 200 grassroots rugby clubs across the UK. Supporting grassroots rugby means giving young people the chance to play rugby, be part of a team and learn skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives. AEG are committed to the game, to players, to coaches and to their supporters everywhere.
