Exeter Chartered Accountants, Kirk Hills were proud to be the headline sponsor at this year’s Exeter Chamber of Commerce annual business dinner, held at Exeter University’s Great Hall.

The prestigious black tie event was a roaring success with more than 300 people attending. The guests helped raise £2674 for the chosen charity, Snowdrop, for brain injured children.

Comedian and bestselling author Tony Hawks provided hilarious observational humour, as the engaging guest of honour, entertaining guests with his incredibly dry wit during their delicious 4 course feast. As a recent resident of Devon, Tony, known for the International bestseller 'Round Ireland with a Fridge’ and his radio and TV work, was happy to meet his local business leaders.

The charity event, now in its eleventh year, is one of the highlights on the Exeter business calendar attracting members from throughout the South West region.

It was a great night, for not only Exeter businesses, but businesses across the region, providing them with the opportunity to celebrate their business achievements whilst raising money for an excellent cause.

David Kirk, Partner at Kirk Hills said: “It was a fantastic evening, it’s always a pleasure sponsoring the Chamber business dinner. It’s a fabulous chance for local businesses to network and to celebrate their successes in one place. We want to thank everyone who was involved, we are very proud to be sponsors once again.”
