Grant Thornton SW promotes ‘shining star’ tax director to partner
After ten years’ loyal service, Grant Thornton South West has promoted Jenny Batchelor to the role of partner, in recognition of her significant contribution to the firm. Based in the Bristol office, her promotion comes off the back of Grant Thornton's continued drive to invest in, and grow, its people.
Jenny Batchelor advises privately-owned businesses and listed companies on domestic and international tax matters, including tax efficient restructuring, acquisition structures and AIM listings.
She has worked across many different industries with extensive experience in construction, food and beverage and online gaming, and helps clients at all stages of the business life cycle to ensure their tax position meets their commercial aims.
Jenny originally trained with Andersen before transitioning to Deloitte, and joined the Gatwick office of Grant Thornton, the leading business and financial adviser, in 2006. Since then, she has risen through the ranks and helped hundreds of companies with their business growth. Her secondment in 2009 to a multinational group covering the UK Head of Tax role gave her invaluable insight into the commercial pressures and challenges clients face.
