Olly Murs to perform at Powderham Castle in July

Olly Murs has announced he is set to perform a massive outdoor concert in Exeter this summer, playing at Powderham Castle on Sunday, 7th July.

Following the success of the JLS concert last year, it's now Olly Murs turn to head to Powderham Castle. Runner-up in 2009’s series of The X-Factor, Olly's double-platinum-selling debut album reached #2 in the UK Album Chart upon release in 2010 and secured two Top 5 places in the singles charts.

Subsequent hits have come one after another, including the #1 singles Heart Skips a Beat and Dance with Me Tonight from Olly’s second platinum album and In Case You Didn’t Know which hit the #1 spot in the UK Album Chart.

Olly will perform all his biggest hits with his incredible live band at this outdoor gig and details of the support acts will be revealed soon.

Commenting on the announcement, concert spokesperson Dion Clements said “We’re ecstatic to announce Olly Murs is coming to Exeter’s Powderham Castle to perform his big outdoor summer show. Olly has a big fan base in the area so we just hope there will be enough tickets to meet demand!”.
