Bronze award as Tickety-Boo shines

Ottery St Mary coffee shop and children’s play kingdom, Tickety-Boo collected its first ever gong in the Devon Tourism Awards.

The coffee shop received a bronze award, which means it is recognised as being in the top three café/tea rooms in the county, judged on such elements as inclusivity, customer service and sustainability including local sourcing. Part of the judging process was a mystery shopper who visited earlier in the year.

Tickety-Boo owner, Stuart Phillips said: “It is the first time we have entered anything like this and we were bowled over to receive a bronze award.

“It is a huge accolade for our business and I’m very proud of the team for working so hard to make a success of Tickety-Boo. Everyone enjoyed the awards event at The Guildhall in Plymouth.”
