swcomms forms partnership with Virtual1
swcomms has formed a partnership with network carrier Virtual1 to offer competitively priced leased line connectivity to the South West and beyond.
Virtual1 has made huge strides in 2018 with the rollout of its UK-wide software defined network, as well as putting the control of this network into the hands of its partners.
swcomms has begun working with Virtual1 to make sure their customers can take advantage of the benefits of improved speeds, enhanced control and lower costs.
swcomms can provide Virtual1 leased line connections to businesses in Exeter, Plymouth, Bristol and Bournemouth and Cardiff, among others. Virtual1’s presence means swcomms can bring bandwidth and commercials to the region, normally only seen in larger major cities.
Virtual1’s network is also on net with many of swcomms’ communications solutions, meaning that traffic always remains private and secure, rather than traversing the public internet.
Brian Lodge, swcomms' managing director, said: “The key infrastructure for any successful business is their internet connection. Leased lines are the way forward in a world where most communications tools and business systems will be hosted in a cloud environment. Businesses need reliable uptime and superior speeds to optimise their productivity and ultimately, their profitability. We are working with Virtual1 to provide these leased line connections at a price that is favourable for our customers.”
Tom O’Hagan, Virtual1 founder & CEO, said: “We are delighted to be working more closely with swcomms. Their award-winning, customer-focussed approach draws great parallels with our own business. I look forward helping them to stand apart in the market and transform businesses across the South West.”
