Enchanting Isles and Freedom Trails at Bayards Kitchen with Monty Halls
Explorer, writer and TV presenter Monty Halls will be recounting tales of his latest adventures in the wilds of Europe and on the magical Galapagos Islands at Bayards Kitchen on Thursday, June 28.
During his presentation, Monty will talk about the remarkable individuals, routes and locations he came across while filming in these extraordinary environments for Channel 4. The voyagers travels are illustrated by stunning images and exclusive footage.
The presentation has already received widespread acclaim, and played to a full house at the Royal Geographical Society, leading Sir Ranulph Fiennes to comment: “A brilliant presentation that celebrates the importance of adventure and travel in the modern world.”
Copies of Monty’s new book Escaping Hitler: Stories of Escape and Endurance on the Freedom Trails will also be available for personalised signing at the end of the event.
Monty’s most recent programme WWII’s Great Escapes: The Freedom Trails was broadcast on Channel 4 in 2017 and My Family and The Galapagos is coming out on Channel 4 later this year.
