Exeter care home staff and residents raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support
Residents and staff at RMBI Care Co. Home Cadogan Court in Exeter, took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning last week, raising over £80 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In the run up to the event, residents had fun making Macmillan bunting to decorate the Home. On the day, there were smiles on everyone’s faces as a trolley packed with delicious cakes and biscuits arrived.
Home Activities Coordinators, Emma Allan and Klara Ferm, who organised the event, said: “Everyone had a lot of fun and enjoyed taking part. Cancer has touched the lives of so many of us, so everyone here wanted to help raise money for the fantastic work of Macmillan Cancer Support.”
