South West hauliers receive national industry awards at Pall-Ex Group ceremony
M Pinches and Sons Ltd, founder members of the network, won the Pall-Ex Regional Operational Award for theSouthwest, and Pall-Ex Southwest, received the award from Fortec at an exclusive ceremony, sponsored by Tile Mountain, held to celebrate independent hauliers from across the UK and Europe.
Both businesses are shareholder members of Pall-Ex and Fortec – palletised freight distribution networks made up of over 160 independent hauliers that operate together to distribute freight across the UK and globally.
Worcester-based M Pinches and Sons Ltd and Exeter-based Pall-Ex South West have played key roles in building and strengthening the Fortec Distribution network services in the Southwest and beyond, contributing to local and national success for the network.
The hauliers were invited to the Regional Leaders in Excellence Awards Dinner following their success in Pall-Ex Group’s Diamond Excellence Scheme. The initiative rewards network members who have achieved targets set by the Group, with those reaching the set criteria each month being presented with a Diamond Excellence certificate. The highest performing members from each region are invited to the dinner to celebrate their contribution to the network and outstanding operational performance.
