Princesshay announces Exeter Leukaemia Fund as charity of the year

Princesshay has announced Exeter Leukaemia Fund as its charity of the year for 2024/25. Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) provides vital support to patients with blood cancer and other disorders, who attend the Haematology Centre at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (RD&E).

ELF is the leading patient-led support organisation for families affected by blood cancer in the South West. Their vision is that every family affected by blood cancer or a blood disorder in the region receives compassionate, tailored support.

Gary Moore, Development Manager at Exeter Leukaemia Fund, said “Exeter Leukaemia Fund is delighted to have been selected as Princesshay’s charity of the year for 2024/25. The awareness that a small local charity like ELF will receive from this partnership in the heart of the city is huge. We look forward to working with Princesshay and becoming involved in their great calendar of community events. This partnership will have a major impact, helping ELF to raise both funds and awareness to support local families affected by blood cancer and related conditions”.

The partnership will see fundraising and awareness events happen throughout the year in Princesshay.

23/24 saw Princesshay support Home-Start Exeter, East & Mid Devon as their charity partner of the year, raising both funds and as importantly awareness of their work over the twelve months.
