Pupils and staff at West Exe Technology College today showed off their ground-breaking new iPhone, iPad and Android app.The app, exclusively designed for West Exe by leading Exeter based software development agency Rokk Media, provides ‘real-time’ news and information for parents, students, and friends of the college. Vicki Carah, Acting Headteacher, said: "The new mobile app will make it easier than ever before for people to stay in touch with West Exe anywhere, anytime." Managing Director and owner of Rokk Media, and West Exe parent, Adam Stone said: “It has always been our policy to support the community of Exeter wherever possible, and as my daughter is also a pupil at West Exe, I approached them with the idea of developing their very own mobile app for them. "They saw the potential straight away and after initially working with students and teachers to decide the kind of content that would benefit them – I put our in-house designers and engineers to work with a brief to deliver the best app of its kind anywhere. Working with West Exe has been a real joy and we can’t wait to see the app being used on a daily basis”. Full of information, news, videos and photos, the app shows all that is best at West Exe and will continue to provide regular updates for all its users.
