Employees at Ashfords solicitors in Exeter have turned their car park into a makeshift gym in a bid to keep fit.

The firm has recruited personal trainer Trisha Brown to help staff stay in shape. Classes on offer include Kettlercise, a routine that uses light weights that resemble bowling balls, and Boxercise, a fitness class incorporating boxing moves and techniques.

Trisha, who runs a company called Exmoor Fitness, said: “I am dedicated to supporting others to achieve their fitness and personal goals.

“There is something special about committing to exercise with a group and, from an employer’s point of view, healthy employees cost less!”

One of the Ashfords employees taking advantage of the classes is Tamara Humphreys.

She said: “I have found the classes a superb way to get fit ahead of summer. It is great to take part in something outdoors and get to meet new people.”

Sessions are held every Monday between 5.30pm and 7.30pm outside Ashfords House Grenadier Rd, Exeter Business Park, Exeter.

Each class costs £30 for six sessions but those who are feeling particularly energetic can book both Kettlercise and Boxercise classes for £50.

Classes are open to all, including non-Ashford’s employees. For more information contact trisha@exmoorfitness.co.uk or call Trishia on 01398 341759.
